SmartAstronomy's SmartCase

   SmartAstronomy's Smartcase is designed to protect the Autostar controller keypad from dirt, dust, and moisture from dew. Microscopic dust and dirt will find its way inside your Autostar controller causing the keypad to have slow response or no response. Moisture from dew also becomes a major factor in keypad commands. Damage of the controller housing and circuts from accidental falls can also occur. The Goto telescope depends on the commands sent from the AutoStar Keypad. If the Autostar controller doesn't work, neither will your telescope! The SmartCase is fully padded for protection against impact and all materials are waterproof to protect against moisture from dew. The transparent front allows the display to read easily, and maintains the feel of the keypad in all temperatures. The SmartCase fits Autostar models #494,495,497 for use with all Meade LX series scopes, ETX scopes, and LXD55 scopes.

   SmartAstronomy's Smartcase II is designed to protect the Celestron controller from dirt, dust, and moisture from dew. Microscopic dust and dirt will find its way inside your Celestron hand controller causing the keypad to have slow response or no response. Moisture from dew also becomes a major factor in keypad commands. Damage of the controller housing and circuts from accidental falls can also occur. The GoTo Telescope depends on the commands sent from the Celestron Keypad. If the Celestron controller doesn't work, neither will your telescope! The SmartCase II is fully padded for protection against impact and all materials are waterproof to protect against moisture from dew. The transparent front allows the display to read easily, and maintains the feel of the keypad in all temperatures. Vanguard VGC-13S Hard-sided Storage Case
Includes diced foam, adjustable dividers and adjustable shoulder strap.

   The VGC-13S hard-sided case features dual locking metal latches, one removable layer of diced foam (foam is diced 0.5" x 0.5 " x 2.75" thick), five adjustable dividers (2 long, 2 short, 1 medium length), and a adjustable shoulder strap. The adjustable tongue and groove style dividers allow the interior to be divided into a wide range of compartment sizes, or can be removed completely for one large opening. With one large opening the diced foam block fills the entire bottom of the case and can be plucked to fit just about any shaped object. The inside is fully padded, the walls are lined with a 1/8" thick layer of grooved hard foam, the bottom is lined with a 1" thick layer of soft foam, and the lid is lined with a layer of soft egg-crate style foam. The exterior is both impact and scratch resistant. The metallic gray aluminum trim is enhanced with rounded non-marking corners. Feet on two sides protect the case when stood up, and when laid down flat for opening. Color is black with metallic gray aluminum trim.

   This sturdy storage case is ideal for traveling. It features a spacious interior, foam lining, and padlock hasps. Meade Soft Case for 8" & 10" LX SCT

   Carrying Cases for 8" and 10" LX50 or LX200GPS telescope models. Each case accepts the optical tube assembly and fork mount of the telescope and is designed to use the molded foam-rubber in which the telescope is originally shipped. All carrying cases are of a heavy-duty Cordura-type material that permits secure storage and field transport of the telescope.

Meade ETX Aluminum Hard Carry Cases

   These Meade hard cases are specifically designed for the ETX telescopes. They come complete with foam padding that's already pre-cut to fit your telescope and accessories like a glove! Cutouts are provided for the telescope and base, three eyepieces, the #494/497 Autostar hand controller, a 45° Erecting Prism, the #64 T-Adapter, a T-Ring, a slot for the optional tripod legs (or can be used for cables), and there are two cutouts provided for your other accessories - one is the same size as the 45° Erecting Prism cutout and the other is twice as wide. Great for storing cables or a power supply or the like! The two latches can be locked with an included key.

Meade ETX-90 Soft Carry Bags

   The Meade ETX-90EC/RA & ETX Spotter soft carry bags feature woven fabric construction with soft padded panels on the top and sides, while the bottom is stiffened and padded. Inside is an open area to place the telescope in, and a top zipped pocket that runs the full length and height of the front panel. The shoulder strap is adjustable and includes a sliding rubber pad for your shoulder area. Outside fabric color is Meade blue, inside is black.
