Celestron Ultima Eyepieces

   Rated as best in their class by Sky and Telescope magazine, the Ultima eyepieces use a 5-element hybrid optical design. They feature long eye relief and a wide field, and each air-to-glass surface is fully multicoated to enhance contrast levels. These special eyepieces are computer designed to keep visual aberrations to an absolute minimum. They virtually eliminate the following aberrations: spherical, color, field curvature, coma, astigmatism, distortion and spherical distortion of the exit pupil. The inside surfaces and edges of all lenses are blackened, to keep out reflected light. Outside surfaces are flat black, with rubber grips for secure handling. Rubber eyecups are included both for comfortable use and to keep out extraneous light. Threaded barrels accept any 1-25" threaded filters. Lens and barrel caps are included for safe storage.

Celestron 10mm Plössl Reticle Eyepiece

   Guiding (or reticle) eyepieces are mandatory for guided astrophotography. They keep a guide star stationary during long exposures to avoid star trailing. This 5-element guiding eyepiece has a reticle pattern that is a .0075" double spaced line system. The optics are multicoated for increased contrast and have long eye relief. The high power is ideal for guiding and it has a 50° apparent field of view. This type of reticle pattern allows you to position the guide star in the middle square or at the intersection of two lines, whichever is easier for you. An optional illuminator is required.

Celestron 12.5mm Micro Guide Eyepiece

   This multi-function guiding eyepiece features a laser-etched reticle with a built-in battery illuminator. The eyepiece is a multicoated 12.5mm Abbe (4-element) Orthoscopic. Usage possibilities include: direct guiding on stars outside the center of the field of view; greatly improved off-axis guiding to capture much fainter, sharply focused guide stars without reducing limiting magnitude; and measuring position angles and separation of double stars. The Micro Guide Eyepiece is totally free of internal reflections and offers sufficient eye relief for the reticle to be viewed easily, even with eyeglasses. Its finely etched micrometer scale has gradations 50 microns apart and 15 microns wide. Included are: the eyepiece, built-in cordless illuminator with adjustable brightness control, batteries and instructions. The apparent field of view is 42°.

Celestron Eyepiece and Filter Kit

The Eyepiece and Filter Kit contains:

• Five Superior Grade Plössl Eyepieces - 1.25” — 4-element design with a 52° AFOV (32mm has 44°) — Superb color resolution, edge sharpness and clarity. All eyepieces are fully multi-coated for maximum contrast and resolution. Supplied are a 4mm,6mm, 9mm, 15mm, and 32mm.

• Barlow Lens - 2x 1.25”— Compliments the Plössl eyepieces in this kit and gives you a total of ten power combinations. High grade glass optics with fully multicoated lenses are used so there is no degradation of image.

• Six Colored Eyepiece Filters (Lunar & Planetary) - 1.25” — Included are Kodak Wratten #12, #21, #25, #56, #58A, and #80A. Since you have all the eyepieces necessary to study the planets and moon in detail, these filters will greatly enhance your enjoyment of our solar system.

• Moon Filter - 1.25” — A neutral density filter which allows you maximum enjoyment of the moon especially during the brighter phases.

• Aluminum Carrying Case — This sturdy and well-built case fits all of the above items in the die-cut foam interior and has room for additional accessories.

Celestron 2" Eyepiece and Filter Kit

The 2" Eyepiece and Filter Kit contains:

• Three E-Lux 2" Eyepieces - 3-element fully multicoated optical design with a 56° apparent field of view (40mm has 50°) Comes with 26mm, 32mm and 40mm focal lengths.

• 2" Barlow Lens - 2x — A Barlow lens doubles the magnifying power of your eyepiece by doubling its effective focal length. The E-Lux 2x Barlow is fully multicoated and gives you a total of six power combinations.

• Five Colored Eyepiece (Lunar & Planetary) Filters - 2” — Included are Kodak Wratten #12 (deep yellow), #21 (orange), #25 (red), #58 (green), and #80A (blue). These filters will greatly enhance your enjoyment of our solar system.

• 2" Mirror Diagonal - This high quality 90-degree multicoated mirror diagonal allows you to take advantage of the wider field of view provided by 2" eyepieces. It fits all rear cells of Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes and includes an adapter to use with refractor telescopes.

• Aluminum Carrying Case — This sturdy and well-built case fits all of the above items in the die-cut foam interior.
