JMB Identiview filters are high quality glass filters. We carry only the Class "A" filters which are coated with a highly scratch resistant layer of steel. They are a little less expensive, they also include a cleaning cloth. They are also guaranteed for as long as you own them. With these filters the Sun is presented in a pleasing natural color. We have carried these filters for some time now and we are very pleased with the quality, construction, and consistency of the coatings. All of these filters are full aperture.

ScopeTronix Flexi-Focus™
This unique product solves two common ETX problems! It allows you to focus without the jitters and allows you to easily reach the focus knob even when the OTA is parallel with the forks! Since the newer ETX EC/AT operates in Alt-Az mode there is a very large portion of the sky overhead where it can be difficult to reach the focus knob when viewing. Don't let its extreme flexibility worry you, focus control remains fine and crisp with no backlash or rubbery feeling, the flexible shaft is extremely rigid on its rotational axis and provides excellent focus control. SmartAstronomy's SmartCase
SmartAstronomy's Smartcase is designed to protect the Autostar controller keypad from dirt, dust, and moisture from dew. Microscopic dust and dirt will find its way inside your Autostar controller causing the keypad to have slow response or no response. Moisture from dew also becomes a major factor in keypad commands. Damage of the controller housing and circuts from accidental falls can also occur. The Goto telescope depends on the commands sent from the AutoStar Keypad. If the Autostar controller doesn't work, neither will your telescope! The SmartCase is fully padded for protection against impact and all materials are waterproof to protect against moisture from dew. The transparent front allows the display to read easily, and maintains the feel of the keypad in all temperatures. ScopeTronix Field Doubler and Visual Back
A ScopeTronix exclusive, this field doubler attaches to the back of your ETX-90/105/125 or NexStar 4 and effectively shortens the focal ratio of your telescope to f/7. This system will provide wider fields of view for your CCD imager or webcam while also reducing your exposure times. Now you can image more of the Moon or that large star cluster or galaxy. The Field Doubler is designed to allow for a wider field CCD imaging, it is not designed for visual use and the ETX will not reach focus if a diagonal is inserted into it. We also offer this unit without optics to provide the user a Visual Back for their ETX-90/105/125 or NexStar 4. Now you can image or photograph straight through the telescope. These are great new accessories to make your scope even more fun to use.

Meade ETX Electric Focusers
Available for the
ETX-90RA, 90EC, & 125EC!
The Meade ETX #1244 & #1247 electric focusers include coarse and microfine speeds. When used with the ETX-90EC, ETX-105EC and ETX-125EC telescopes the focuser plugs into, and is powered by, the telescope’s control panel. Focus control is either through the standard ETX Hand Controller or optional AUTOSTAR controller.
For use with the ETX-90RA, a focuser hand controller is included (shown in picture) that accepts a 9-volt battery (9v batt. not included), the electric focuser plugs directly into the included focuser hand controller. Note that the included focuser hand controller is not needed for use with the ETX-90EC or ETX-105EC and is included only for compatibility with the ETX-90RA. The ETX-125 model (M1247) does not include a hand controller as it is not needed.

Kendrick Kwik Focus
The Kendrick Kwik Focus is a multi purpose tool that is indespensible for anyone wanting to get optimum performace from their telescope and the best possible focus they can achieve. The Kwik Focus can also be used to determine if your telescope's optics are properly aligned and collimated. By observing the out of focus star images through the Kwik focus you can bring your telescopes optics into accurate alignment. It can be used to easily and quicky acheive critical focus for astrophotographers, CCD imagers and observers. We believe it is the easiest product to use on the market to achieve accurate focus. Meade #825 8x25mm Right Angle View Finder
Included as standard-equipment on ETX-105/125 models, this 8 x 25mm Right-Angle Viewfinder permits a comfortable 90° viewing position with 90mm ETX models as well. The #825 fits into the same bracket as the 8 x 21mm finder supplied with ETX-90 telescopes. The finder’s wide-angle 7.5° actual field facilitates object-location. Precise focusing of the image is accomplished with a helicoid mechanism.

Meade #932 45° Erecting Prism
All model ETX's include an internal optical-flat mirror to reflect light to the telescope’s rear port, in this position the telescope’s image is upright, but reversed. For terrestrial observing with the ETX-90/105/125 telescopes the #932 Prism results in a fully correctly oriented image and a convenient 45° observing angle. Note that the #932 Prism is included as standard equipment with the ETX Spotting Scopes.

Meade #64 ETX-90/105/125 T-Adapter
Allows 35mm photography through any ETX-90/105/125 Astro Telescope (or Spotting Scope), the Meade #64 T-Adapter threads onto the rear cell of the telescope, providing a standard camera 'T' thread. A T-Ring appropriate to the user’s brand of 35mm camera can then be attached to the T thread. In this way the camera body is rigidly coupled to the telescope’s optical system, which in effect becomes the camera’s lens.
Item requires a T-Ring for use with your particular brand of 35mm camera. The #64 T-Adapter threads onto the rear port of the ETX, the T-Ring then threads onto the T-Adapter. the T-Ring is then attached to the lens mount of your 35mm camera. Meade ETX-90& ETX-125 Table Tripods
In Alt-Azimuth mounting the ETX-90 & ETX-125 EC/AT models permit manual pushbutton tracking of astronomical objects from their standard hand controller. The table tripods allow the telescope to be mounted equatorially, thus allowing the telescope to automatically track objects in Right Ascension (R.A.). When mounting the ETX equatorially you initially polar align the scope once at the beginning of your observing session. Once polar aligned you can center an object you wish to track in the eyepiece and simply engage the tracking mode, the telescope will continue to automatically track the object across the sky, keeping it within the eyepiece view. Each table tripod includes two fixed legs and two variable-length legs inscribed with a range of latitude settings for quick polar alignment (the 2nd variable-length leg is only used for high latitudes). In addition the ETX-125 #881 table tripod includes a low latitude balance weight. With the ETX-90 #880 table tripod the low latitude balance weight is optional (Meade #1422) and can be ordered separately if needed. Note: M880 is standard equipment with ETX90-RA.

Meade #884 Deluxe Field Tripod for the ETX
The #884 Deluxe Field Tripod is just the thing if you want to stand up and view through your 60AT, 70AT, ETX-90, ETX-105, or ETX 125. It is constructed of strong, lightweight steel. The height of the tripod adjusts from 25-43 inches, allowing you to view while standing or sitting. A graduated scale for elevation angle from 20 degrees to 90 degrees permits precise polar alignment of the telescope for astronomical applications. The tripod tilts and locks at 90 degrees for terrestrial applications, or for altazimuth use with the Autostar. Your telescope will attach to the tilt plate in seconds with two thumb screws. A padded carry case is included with this purchase. It is made of heavy-duty cordura-type fabric, zippers shut, and has carry handles. A internal zipper pouch holds the tripod's spreader bar. Not for spotting scope versions of the ETX.

Meade #889 Tripod Adapter for the ETX
The Meade #889 tripod adapter has a three bolt mounting pattern and a threaded central mounting hole. Meade ETX Aluminum Hard Carry Cases
These Meade hard cases are specifically designed for the ETX telescopes. They come complete with foam padding that's already pre-cut to fit your telescope and accessories like a glove! Cutouts are provided for the telescope and base, three eyepieces, the #494/497 Autostar hand controller, a 45° Erecting Prism, the #64 T-Adapter, a T-Ring, a slot for the optional tripod legs (or can be used for cables), and there are two cutouts provided for your other accessories - one is the same size as the 45° Erecting Prism cutout and the other is twice as wide. Genuine Meade ETX-90 Soft Carry Bags
The Meade ETX-90 & ETX-90 Spotter soft carry bags feature woven fabric construction with soft padded panels on the top and sides, while the bottom is stiffened and padded. Inside is an open area to place the telescope in, and a top zipped pocket that runs the full length and height of the front panel. This "piggyback" camera mount will allow you to piggyback a 35mm camera on your ETX. This will let you to take short exposure unguided shots and long exposure guided shots (by guiding through the main tube). This is the easiest way to get into 35mm astrophotography. Since wide field low power shots are very forgiving to tracking errors, and you can get some great images of extended objects like M31, M42, etc. For longer exposures you should use an illuminated reticle crosshair eyepiece to guide the scope by making minute corrections while keeping a star centered in the crosshair. Constructed of high quality steel with a durable black powder coat finish. The inside is well padded to prevent marring that pretty ETX tube! Camera mounting is via a standard 1/4-20 camera thumbscrew. Includes a set of 4 counterweights as shown. Note: Scope should be polar mounted to track correctly for astrophotography.

The "Dew Clip"
If you have long observing sessions or live in a heavy dew area you need active dew prevention. The Dew Clip is a corrector plate heater designed especially for small Schmidt-Cassegrain and Maksutov telescopes. To install simply grasp it by the 2 small handles at the bottom, slightly spread the clip and slip it over the front of the telescope optical tube. The felt lined dew clip fits snugly without scratching the optical tube. Insert the auto cigarette lighter type plug into any 12 volt power source (One of our Power Stations is perfect for running this and the ETX at the same time, see Field & Power Accessories). A red LED on the Dew Clip indicates it is on and working. Designed to supply just enough heat to keep the corrector above the dew point and not so much that it causes tube currents. Current draw is very low. Use with our Dew/Glare shield below for absolute maximum protection from dew and stray light!

Meade #541 AC Power Adapter
In addition to their internal battery packs the ETX-90/105/125 EC/AT telescopes may be powered from a standard 115 volt AC electric outlet with the #541 AC Adapter. The #541 plugs into any standard home outlet and includes a 25 foot cord for connecting it to the telescope’s control panel, input voltage to the telescope is 12 volts DC. Note: #607 cord listed above is included as part of this kit.

ETX90 Right Tube Adapter
The machined aluminum "Right Tube Adapter" replaces the ETX90 EC/AT stock plastic part. This plastic part can break after repeated over tightening or even after extended use. I highly recommend it for people who heavily load their telescopes, live outside the United States where it is difficult to get Meade parts, or for those who can't be inconvenienced by a failure at an inopportune time. The RTA is machined to high accuracy and beautifully painted to match the ETX. Includes all of the necessary hardware (except a screwdriver) and instructions needed for the rather simple installation procedure.
