Lens for MaxView Eyepieces

The MaxPower™ lens threads into the bottom of select MaxView™ eyepieces boosting magnification.

The MaxPower™ lenses are special telenegative lenses designed to increase the effective magnification of our MaxView line of digital camera eyepieces while maintaining the desirable characteristics of the MaxView such as minimal vignetting. Using a regular barlow lens can often overpower your setup and introduce a significant amount of additional vignetting or other unwanted abberations. The MaxPower lenses are available in two sizes to fit the MaxView II, MaxView 40, and MaxView 14/18mm Nikon eyepieces. Useful both visually and photographically they increase magnification approximately 60% (1.6x). This will make a 40mm MaxView behave like a 25mm MaxView, and still retain the desirable properties of the 40mm. When used with the MaxView 14mm and 18mm Nikon wide angle eyepieces they will be the equivalent of 9mm and 12mm respectively.

Please Note, these lenses will NOT fit the following versions of the MaxView:
MaxView-S, MaxView-PX, MaxView-B, MaxView-L, MaxView-Z, MaxView Plus (STMP1 will fit MaxView Plus when using 1.25" tube).
