Celestron f/6.3 Focal Reducer/Corrector
This combination focal reducer and field corrector lens accessory works with all Celestron 5", 8", 9¼", 11" and 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. This clever accessory makes it possible to have a dual focal ratio instrument, without sacrificing image quality. The Reducer/Corrector is f/6.3 for C5, C8, C9¼ and C11 telescopes and f/7 for the C14 telescope. It offers wide fields of view with any Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Used for astrophotography, it reduces exposure time by a factor of 3.

SmartAstronomy's SmartCase II
SmartAstronomy's Smartcase II is designed to protect the Celestron controller from dirt, dust, and moisture from dew. Microscopic dust and dirt will find its way inside your Celestron hand controller causing the keypad to have slow response or no response. Moisture from dew also becomes a major factor in keypad commands. Damage of the controller housing and circuts from accidental falls can also occur. The GoTo Telescope depends on the commands sent from the Celestron Keypad. If the Celestron controller doesn't work, neither will your telescope! The SmartCase II is fully padded for protection against impact and all materials are waterproof to protect against moisture from dew. The transparent front allows the display to read easily, and maintains the feel of the keypad in all temperatures. Celestron Piggyback Mount
Celestron's Piggyback Mount is a great accessory for all observers interested in deep-sky astrophotography, particularly beginners. This mount allows you to attach your camera, with its lens, to either the top or side of the telescope, making it possible to shoot with a normal or wide angle lens while guiding through the telescope. The NexStar 5 piggyback mount is used to mount your camera, with its lens, to the top of your NexStar 5 while still utilizing your StarPointer finderscope for telescope alignment. This is a must-have accessory for the astrophotography enthusiast. The piggyback mount that fits the 8", 9¼", 11" and 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes mount to the rear cell of the telescope.

Kendrick Kwik Focus
The Kendrick Kwik Focus is a multi purpose tool that is indespensible for anyone wanting to get optimum performace from their telescope and the best possible focus they can achieve. The Kwik Focus can also be used to determine if your telescope's optics are properly aligned and collimated. By observing the out of focus star images through the Kwik focus you can bring your telescopes optics into accurate alignment. It can be used to easily and quicky acheive critical focus for astrophotographers, CCD imagers and observers. We believe it is the easiest product to use on the market to achieve accurate focus. Constructed of aluminum and powder coated black, it is elegant in both concept and design. It can also be used as a lens cap when your telescope is not in use. Case for NexStar 8 and 11 GPS
Includes lockable latches and die-cut foam lining with compartments for telescope, eyepieces and accessories. Can be carried or pulled using attached wheels. Outside dimensions of the case are approximately 35-1/2" x 24-7/8" x 15-3/8" (subject to slight changes) and it weighs about 28 lbs. Finder scope must be detached and inserted into a foam compartment. An adapter bracket is included for instant accurate repositioning when attaching the finder scope. Case is used as is for N8 GPS, for use with N11GPS simply remove the precut 8" foam piece and it will be a custom fit for the N11 GPS.

Active dew prevention for your NexStar 8. This 12 volt corrector plate heater prevents dew by keeping the corrector plate just above the dew point. Unique DewClip installs seconds, just slightly spread it apart and slip it over the optical tube. Its own spring action holds it in place. Felt lined to prevent marring the finish. A handy LED power indicator on the clip lets you know the unit is on and doing its job. No expensive controller required! Plugs into a standard 12 volt cigarette lighter type socket, low current draw. The 8" model is designed specifically for the NexStar 8 (it has a cutout for clearance of the support bar on the left side of the OTA). The Dew Clip simply slips over the front of the corrector plate and plugs into a 12V outlet on your power pack or cigarette lighter socket. Current draw is a little over 1 amp for the 8" version which is a nice balance between low power and adequate dew protection.

Celestron AC Adapter for NexStar Telescopes
This adapter is a plug-in power source for many of our telescopes. This is powered off of standard 110-volt AC and outputs 12 volts DC. It is rated at 1.5 amps. This accessory is compatible with all NexStar products (also compatible with Celestar 8, Ultima 2000, CI700). This adapter is not compatible with the Advanced or the CGE products, which require 2 amps.
